World Championships in Canada
A mixed affair at the World Championships in Quebec in August last year. Unfortunately, during my Time Trial race a staff member gave me incorrect information leading to me missing out on a medal, however two days later I finished the road race with a Bronze.
Really difficult course with a very steep (dangerous) downhill and a 10% climb on the other side.
Overall I was happy with how I performed.
Since the worlds I have started training under a new coach whom we sourced ourselves, Vicki Fleming. Awesome to work with a coach who is riding with me on the road.
My next race is Hampton Downs in February followed by a few local races at my home club, Morrinsville wheelers.I head off to Europe in April for World Cup events in
Belgium and Italy and then off to the World Championships in Scotland. That's the plan although I am working hard to be selected first.
